Lisa and Abe’s Blowing Rock Country Club wedding fell on the perfect fall day. They started their morning at Westglow Resort and Spa for a relaxing start to their day with their closest friends. After popping champagne and getting dressed, Abe + Lisa met each other overlooking the mountains to take it all in for a few moments.
Their wedding party jumped in a trolley to shuttle to The Lake House for the ceremony. The flower girl fluttered around the adults, trying to entertain herself before her big moment. Lisa met Abe’s glistening eyes as she walked toward her groom. They shared the most exquisite, personal vows that had everyone in tears.
Their guests mingled in masks and enjoyed a splendid evening on the patio overlooking the mountains. After an emotional dance with their parents, Lisa’s sister put on a choreographed dance and song routine with the bridesmaids for a fun toast.
We escaped to a nearby trail for a few more photos at sunset. We watched the almost cloudless sky fade from blue to purple-ish pink. Lisa climbed over the cattle fence without complaint as we ran around the lush green field, entertaining the evening crickets and critters.
They returned to their party to take in the final hours before leaving the night under an arch of sparkers.
