I had the best time in Waynesville last week mentoring the incredibly talented duo behind Fox & Owl Studio. After our session we explored Black Balsam, a meaningful place to Shannon and Andrew, to celebrate their fifth anniversary. These two kindred souls have hearts made of gold. I loved adventuring in a new place and making new friends on this trip.
I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced wind like we had at the top of the bald. It had to have been blowing at least 50 mph because it was strong enough to push all three of us over. However, the storms that scattered right before our time made for some epic light and highlighted the view.
