MAGGIE + SLATON
ROAN MOUNTAIN, TN

This was one of the craziest sunrise sessions I’ve experienced, weather-wise. Maggie + Slaton’s Roan Mountain winter engagement session was brutally cold with wind gusts of up to 30-40 mph. They are troopers and weathered the storm for at least an hour before needing to defrost.

However, the wind and snow made for truly unique photos. I included a few real moments in between so that you can get a feel for how truly windy it was. The wind gusts were strong enough to push me over and knock me off my feet.

I’m excited for their wedding (with hopefully much warmer weather) this October.
