Nina and Erik travelled all way from Maryland to elope at Craggy Gardens in Asheville. As we drove up the parkway, we hit fog. Lots and lots of fog. I could tell Nina was disappointed, especially since they had adventured so far from home for their wedding. However, as we started their ceremony, the fog moved, and we caught a few glimpses of the mountains!
I adored their handwritten vows and all the tears shed by Erik and he listened to Nina’s. These two were a blast to run around the Blue Ridge Parkway with, and I’m honored to have been one of their witnesses for their marriage.
