This photo was taken as I walked down the aisle to meet my future (at the time) husband. It was one of the most memorable moments from the day. I remember everyone giggling as I raised the camera. After I gave my camera back to my friend for safe keeping, I started to cry happy tears, realizing that my dad was giving me away.
We hired one of the best photographers to capture our day, but I still wanted to capture THIS moment through my eyes.
We said our vows and exchanged rings just like I see every one of my bride and grooms do. It was surreal to finally be at the end of the aisle, but everything was perfect. We had our flubs like every wedding does, but I couldn’t have asked God for a more beautiful day.
And, I’m married to the most amazing man that I’ve ever met in my life.

I just love this. :) I am not yet married myself, but I always imagined that when that day came, I’d want to capture my viewpoint in such a way as well.

I’m so glad you posted this. From where we were in the back, we knew something was happening because everyone giggled, but we didn’t know what, because we couldn’t see.
Kendra asked me what happened and I think I said something to the effect of “You know Lange, she probably tripped.”
