Presently, I’m blogging from our couch with this little guy snoozing beneath me. We welcomed Poa, an eight week-old Samoyed, into our lives this Monday. He’s quite a cutie with a natural “Samoyed smile,” but he’s also an explorative pup that gets into trouble :) His name is a derivative of “poa annua,” a type of grass. It’s Brendan’s favorite to play golf on. We had a hard time finding a photo-related word that fit his fluffy complexion. Oh, and he won’t be this small (he’s already 15 lbs!) for very long. He’s expected to be somewhere around 50-70 lbs…soon.
We couldn’t be more excited to be puppy parents for the first time! Brendan and I are a tad sleep-deprived (he misses his brother and hates his crate), but we know it will be worth it to spend the quality time training him properly.
I’m going to try extra hard to not make this blog all about cute puppies, but feel free to follow the many Instagram + Twitter posts that he will appear in :)
Congratulations Megan! He’s so cute!!!!! We love being dog owners but are sleep-deprived as well. Can’t wait to see more pics as he grows! And i’m totally fine seeing more cute puppy blogs from you :)
