It’s been a few months in the making, but I’m excited to finally introduce Lucy on the blog! She’s been a wedding videographer for the past few years and is trying to transition into still photography. She has an incredible eye and is the kindest person. Here’s a little bit more, from Lucy:
“I grew up in a culturally diverse blended family where the exploration of art and photography were encouraged. I took my first photography class as a summer camp in 3rd grade, and have been sort of obsessed with photos and videos ever since. That said, it has only been in the last 3 to 4 years that I had the confidence to pursue photography as a career. In a previous career, I studied psychology and worked as a research assistant at UNC with children and families with developmental differences.
I am fascinated by light, and by the study of human behavior, development, and relationships. These are the elements I am drawn towards and tend to capture most in my photographs. My goal is to serve you by witnessing your story and aiding in the construction of your legacy.
When I don’t have a camera in my hands, you can probably find me listening to a podcast, and drinking tea with my pup Stella nearby.”
