The leaves that clung on the the branches after the heavy October rains revealed beautiful bits of color on Laura + Wyatt’s day. It was a small wedding, with each person chosen intentionally to be a part of their DIY celebration at Lake Eden Events. A few of my favorite moments:
// Watching Laura and her dad laugh while walking down the aisle. It was such a joyful moment.
// Laura + Wyatt chose to wash each other’s feet as a beautiful symbol of serving each other in their marriage. Brendan and I did the same ceremony for our wedding, and it was a wonderful reminder of that promise we made.
// Even with their small guest list, they had a rocking dance party. I loved that everyone stayed until the very end to sing and dance with Laura + Wyatt. Afterward, they cuddled by a campfire and ate s’mores.
