FOUR YEARS
OREGON COAST

I sat in at Kristen Marie’s class at Photo Field Trip last year, and was blown away by her heart and approach to wedding photography. She captures gorgeous people in pretty landscapes, yes, but she also goes beyond that.  Her attention to detail, personality, and connection is something that makes her a favorite in my book. I knew that I wanted to hire a photographer this year that would “get” us and capture us introspectively and honestly in this season of life.

She did that and so much more.

These images are beyond beautiful, but they also memorialize the depth of who we are at this point in life. Thank you could never be big enough to say how much these photos mean to us.

Four years ago, we stood in the backyard of the house I grew up in and said our vows. The first three years were a breeze, but this year took us for a ride in more ways than one. Marriage is one of the most challenging things in this life–becoming selfless and giving yourself completely to another. However, it is also one of the most wonderful things in this world. Love is a precious gift. There’s nothing like having one person that you can trust with your entire heart and that just “gets” you. I’m grateful that this man has loved me on every good day and bad day. There isn’t anyone else that I would want to navigate this journey with.
