Sam is an incredibly talented wedding photographer in Muskegon, and we’ve crossed paths a few times when we’ve been in town visiting family. I was honored when she reached out and asked me to document a few anniversary photos for them.
Sam is one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet, and Matt is a perfect match for her. My face hurt from smiling so much during our shoot. They chose Duck Lake State Park for their anniversary session because they spend many summer days on the calm lake paddle boarding. It was a challenge to chase them around the water without getting my gear wet, but those images ended up being a few of my favorites from the session. The overhead photo was taken while I was dangling over a bridge, trying not to fall 20 feet below.
