With the wind whipping our faces and a windchill probably below 0º, we hiked around Loveland pass, taking in the drastic valley covered in snow. Earlier that week, Patrick had surgery on his leg, and he was a trooper limping around on icy snow.
It felt like we were on another planet at over 10,000 feet. After exploring as much as we could with the elements, we drove down the pass to find food + drinks to warm our chill. I could have spent hours with these two because they felt like old friends.
I don’t know if I’ve ever been colder for a session than on this evening. However, Lillie rocked a dress without complaint.
