I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know Carolyn + Jake over the past few months in preparation for their wedding day! I just wrapped up their wedding gallery, so I found it fitting to finally blog their engagement photos.
We carpooled in Jake’s truck to Hawksbill on a warm spring night. We chatted about memories throughout their relationship and laughed while sharing stories. I had never been to Linville before and was overwhelmed with the view once we reached the top. The sun was just starting to dip below the mountains, casting the most stunning orange light. It’s quite a scramble at the end, but the hike was completely worth it. We stayed until it was dark, shivering with the wind.
