CALDWELL WEDDING
EDISTO ISLAND, SC

Francie and Ben. These two light up with the brightest joy when around each other. Their wedding at Cypress Trees Plantation on Edisto Island was full of adventure. A few of my favorite memories were:

// Hiking to Botany Bay with Francie and Ben in their wedding clothes. They climbed trees, got a little wet from the ocean, and were totally OK with all of it to make great images.

// Group Prayer. This was one of the most emotional moments of the day. Their closest family and friends gathered around them to pray for their marriage and wedding day. Ben kept kissing her forehead with Francie wiping away tears. So sweet.

// RAIN! It was a running joke that it had to rain at least once because Francie + Ben had to splurge on a tent at the last minute with the forecast. All morning, it looked like the rain was going to stay away and that the tent was a total waste. Sure enough, the rain came just before the ceremony. It cleared for a solid hour for them to say their vows under the sunshine, but then it torrentially down poured soon after. The tent was worth it :)

Special thanks to Kaitlyn for helping me out again and to Elm Events Charleston for putting on such a fun event!
