Brianna, Josh, and Emery drove all the way from Detroit to meet me at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes for their engagement session. Brianna had the vision of incorporating the incredible dunes that line the coast of Michigan, and Silver Lake was a perfect location!
We spent the first part of our session with their sweet daughter, Emery. After, we hiked up and down rolling dunes without an end in sight. There were times that I forgot we were in Michigan; instead, I felt like we were in the desert. It was a warm summer evening, and I proposed jumping in the lake to cool off before their long drive home. I barely finished the sentence before we were running to the lake, chasing the last traces of sunlight, and splashing in the water like children.
