It was such a joy working with Mary Michelle + Joshua at Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, SC. They are truly two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and their wedding was full of many incredible moments. Their wedding felt like one big family coming together to celebrate their union. A few of my favorites:
// Mary Michelle’s dad came into the bridal suite and asked to pray with her before the ceremony. After they were finished, he started tearing up. Mary Michelle told me later that it was the first time in her life that she had ever seen her dad cry. That moment was by far my favorite from the entire day.
// Before the ceremony, Mary Michelle gave Joshua a journal that she had written to her future husband. It was a beautiful sentiment and thoughtful gift.
// Joshua and Mary Michelle chose to read their vows privately to one another during communion. It was incredibly intimate and honest to watch them exchange such strong words to each other.
