Man. I just adore real life family sessions. I worked with Becky and Jason for their anniversary a few years ago, and it was a blast getting to know their kids this time around. Since I wasn’t able to make it to Alabama to photograph in their home, Becky proposed having me come along for part of their camping trip in the Cataloochee Valley. We looked for rocks, pitched the tent, went for a hike, and ran around in a big field. Oh, and we ate s’mores. No camping trip is complete without s’mores.
