Aimee and Justin adore the wilderness. They are both talented athletes, running marathons and training for extreme biking adventures on a regular basis. The backdrop of the Appalachian Mountains was the perfect fit for their elopement.
They invited their closest family and friends to celebrate with them at Craggy Gardens. However, one elemental person was missing from the festivities: Aimee’s mom, who had passed away a few years earlier. Her presence was felt in every hug and tear shed. They allotted a special part of their ceremony to her memory, and it was a truly beautiful sentiment.
After the ceremony, we hiked to the pinnacle and took in the stunning skies that were painted over the rolling mountains. The wild mountain air danced from peak to peak, sending Aimee’s hair and dress flying without reserve. As the night approached, we climbed down the mountain, barefoot and hearts full.
