Kate and Peter hosted their closest family and friends in Peter’s hometown of Troy, NY. It was a brisk and windy upstate New York winter day. Kate is a designer in Boston, and she turned Brown’s Brewing Co.’s Revolution Hall into a beautiful garden. I loved the trees that lined the aisle, and the greenery that was on each table. A few of my favorite moments:
// We spent the morning at Lucas Confectionary, a historic building in Troy. We had the entire place to ourselves. The greenhouse-looking dining room and dark wooden walls made for gorgeous photos.
// The toasts were heartfelt and hilarious. This is always one of my favorite parts of a wedding day because you learn so much more about the couple and the relationships with their guests.
// About 20 guests (including both mothers of the bride!) learned the “Thriller” dance to show off during the reception. It was incredible.
// Confetti canons! These were a fun and different way to celebrate the end of the evening.
