I had the best time getting to know Agnes + Jeff. These two found love later in life, but they’re young at heart and such lovely people. Agnes is an art director, and she blew the design for this wedding out of the park! She foraged all the moss for the Westgate sign and the escort cards. She also had some crazy talented vendors. I loved working with Rebecca Lemon of Ideal Events & Weddings as well as Damsel Floral. Bieker Farms is a beautiful new venue in Grand Rapids, MI, and they were the best hosts! Also, I’m so grateful to Rivkah for flying into Michigan to help me out with this wedding. She’s the greatest.
A few of my favorite memories:
// Agnes’ family is from Poland, and she included some Polish details throughout their day. She had Polish chocolate (delicious) as a favor for their guests in addition to a card at each table that had some translations for Polish phrases.
// Agnes’ mother gave a heartfelt toast and ended it by singing: “This is the Day That the LORD Has Made.” Some of her family joined in song, and it was the sweetest moment.
// The weather! It was a dark overcast morning, but the sun peeked through the clouds during the reception. As a photographer, you can’t ask for better lighting conditions! Agnes remarked that God was looking out for their day :)
// The father-daughter dance and mother-son dances were so joyful. Jeff and his mom laughed the entire time. Agnes’ dad swept her off her feet and danced her all over the place. Both sets of parents were overjoyed the entire day.
I am trying to contact Bieker Farms where the Westgates were married. Do you have the venue’s information or the couple’s? We have tried calling the farm and can not get a hold of them. I know this is pretty unorthodox but we would really appreciate it. Thanks
I am also looking for contact info
i am trying to get ahold of Bieker Farms as well any help!
Hello all! I’ve received several emails about contacting Bieker Farms. The last news I heard (from 2016) is that BF is permanently closed for events. The township ruled against them for zoning/noise.
