Amelia and Chris’ intimate Anthropologie-inspired wedding at The Ridge in Asheville was absolutely stunning. Amelia had reached out to me months earlier for their original date, but I was unavailable. Then COVID hit, and they had to postpone their spring wedding to the fall. She reconnected two weeks out because something had happened with their photographer, and I was luckily free!
Even though their event was small, Amelia had put much thought and work into her details. She handprinted acrylic invitations and place settings and ordered velvet napkins that perfectly matched her decor. Their ceremony was short and sweet, followed by the popping of champagne to perfectly celebrate walking into married life.
Their guests gathered around one large table while the storm clouds thundered in the distance. The sunny day quickly morphed into a dark night sky. We took in the stunning landscape just before it started to rain. While Amelia’s dad shared a hilarious slideshow, the rain fell on the pavement outside, cooling off the humid air.
After the cake was cut and shared, their closest family and friends took to the dance floor and celebrated the night away.
