I’ve had clients tell me afterward that they were nervous they would feel awkward the entire time.
That they wouldn’t know what to do with their hands or their bodies.
And then, somewhere in the middle of the session, something softens and comes alive.
Not because they suddenly learned how to pose
but because they realized they didn’t have to.
They were allowed to arrive exactly as they are.
And be met there.
I loved making art via a boudoir session with this past client of mine in Washington D.C. We’ve built trust over many years of working together, and something beautiful always comes out of that friendship.
