Alana and Elliott chose the Duke Mansion, one of most iconic and historic venues in Charlotte, to host their wedding. It was the perfect choice for their taste and style. I’ve loved getting to know these two throughout the past year (and even being their neighbor while we still lived in Charlotte!). I was so happy to finally have the opportunity to work with Katrina of Come Together Events. She made the day feel effortless and relaxed. I also want to thank Emma for helping me out. A few of her photos are scattered in this batch. A few of my favorite moments:
// There is always a lot of energy and champagne in the bridal suite. I loved that Alana took a quiet moment with just her mom to get into her dress and savor a few moments before she saw Elliott for their first look.
// I adore when my couples take the time to have a first look. Alana + Elliott’s was emotional and also full of excitement. We had so much time to explore the grounds and spend time with their bridal party. When she eventually walked down the aisle, they both shed tears, taking in another momentous part of their day.
// I’ve seen lots of choreographed first dances of the years…but never anything like this. There were lifts and spins and dips in their routine. Alana + Elliott should be on dancing with the stars. For real.
The crispness in your images is unreal! What a beautiful day!!
