I’m so excited to welcome Kaitlyn as my spring intern! She’s an incredibly talented photographer, and I’m blessed to have such a sweet, dedicated person on my team this season. She works full-time as a missionary for YWAM in Herrnhut, Germany, but she’s spending her break in Charlotte to learn more about running a business and growing as a photographer.
I asked her to share a little bit more about herself so that my couples could get to know her:
My name is Kaitlyn and I believe we were designed to see the world around us; shake off the fear we hear of what’s happening around the world, put on some tennis shoes, and go see for ourselves! Go to the remote places of the world and meet a child that will forever change the way you see joy in simplicity. Go to Scandinavia and get obsessed with red wood houses and cozy sweaters. Go to India and fall in love with wild colors you’ve never seen and allow your tastebuds to come alive with things you’ve probably never tasted before. If you can’t go, that’s OK. I’ll go and try my best to share what’s happening in the world around us and capture the true beauty in individuals that are sometimes overlooked.
I’d like to say that I’m a woman in constant pursuit. The amount of countries I’ve been to surpasses to amount of fingers I can hold up, and, yet, there is one thing I hold onto with everything that I am and this one thing I’m completely sold out for, Jesus Christ. I believe with His perspective, a camera in hand, and the truth of the gospel on the tip of my tongue life can be the best adventure out there, and I long to bring you there!
