After waiting a year to host their intimate Lonesome Valley wedding due to the pandemic, everyone was incredibly thrilled to finally gather again!
Because they had such a small guest list, they were able to hold their ceremony on the trail at Lonesome Valley. It provided for epic scenery of the mountains surrounded by thick forests. Her aunt and uncle officiated the ceremony that was incredibly personal and heartfelt under a gorgeous burgundy floral chuppah. After they were pronounced husband and wife, the couple hiked on the trail to “their bridge” where they had eloped the year before.
The couple explored the valley in front of the towering rock face during golden hour. As a surprise, her parents had arranged for llamas to join the guests during cocktail hour! Everyone adored meeting the llamas and getting to take photos with them. The llamas loved the grassy pasture.
After kicking off the evening with the Hora, an incredible dinner at Canyon Kitchen, and emotional toasts, the couple led everyone to the dance floor to sway to the music under the moonlight.
Out of respect for the couple’s wishes for additional privacy, I have intentionally withheld their names, and there are a limited number of (approved) images of the groom. There are many more incredible raw moments that I wish I could share, but I’m grateful that they’ve allowed me to share a handful publicly :) If you’re interested in seeing more weddings in the mountains, please click here.
