Katelyn and Tyler speak to my boho heart. They hosted a gorgeous wedding at Brahma Ridge Event Center in Asheville, NC, earlier this month. Katelyn spent the entire day barefoot, running through tall grass and flowering goldenrod. Her custom-designed bohemian dress was stunning! I loved how the back showed off her tattoos, including one that memorializes her father, who passed away some years ago. Here are a few of my favorite memories:
// Sentimental details. Katelyn had saved a bottle of Dom Perignon from 1978 that was her father’s to have at the wedding. She also wore his ring on her bouquet.
// Tyler has a huge family, and I loved that his sister officiated the ceremony. It made the event that much more personal. Tyler + Katelyn also wrote their own vows, which was the perfect display of affection and their personalities.
// The Funk Brotherhood rocked their reception with some incredible–you guessed it–funk music. They kept all the guests dancing all night long until Katelyn + Tyler were sent off with fireworks!
