They didn’t want it to be a traditional wedding. They wanted it to be a laid-back celebration with only their closest family and friends in attendance. Allison’s brother would officiate and compare marriage to raising dogs (which was a perfect fit, as A+P adore their pups). There would be yard games, alcohol, and Chick-fil-A for lunch in a local park. We would walk downtown, reminiscing about the first time they met on the very same street. In the evening, their guests would enjoy a four-course meal at one of the finest restaurants in the city.
And, it was everything they hoped it would be.
