Lindsay and Brent hosted their wedding at her grandmother’s house, a very sentimental place to their families. All of their guests flew in from Florida to celebrate with them in front of her beautiful Victorian home that is housed on a large farm in Huntersville, NC. A few of my favorite memories:
// The officiant accidentally tried to give away Lindsay’s mom at the beginning of the ceremony instead of Lindsay! It had everyone laughing, especially when Lindsay’s dad said, “She’s already taken.” :)
// Their spring day had the craziest weather forecast. One hour it would be sunny. The next, rain. As we were setting up for the ceremony, a huge cloud passed over and brought precipitation as Lindsay was walking down the aisle. It actually made the processional magical, as guests huddled together to stay dry with raindrops falling. Thankfully, the rain let up five minutes later, and everyone had relief under the canopy of trees.
// Lindsay and Brent did not have a bridal party, but their dog acted as the ring bearer. He loyally brought up the rings, but then he proceeded to sit in between them for most of the remainder of the ceremony. It was comical and adorable.
Thanks to Emma for helping me out! A couple of her images are in this batch.
