Sometimes the best laid plans don’t always come to fruition. It was 50º and sunny in Asheville, so we assumed that it would be a little colder in the mountains but not unbearable. However, we didn’t plan to drive into a snow storm at Roan Mountain. The entire landscape was breathtaking (literally and figuratively). All the trees were covered in snow and ice. It was truly a winter wonderland; however, the windchill was close to 0º, which left us with only 10 minutes before all of us were frozen (even with layers + gloves!). We managed to capture a glimpse of the magic in those few minutes, but I’m looking forward to shooting Ben + Allison in the spring when it’s much warmer :)
The snow is so magical! Love these!
