The last time I photographed J’s maternity boudoir session, she ended up going into labor the next day! This time around, we kept closer to home and had a less eventful week :)
I’ve had the true joy of photographing this family’s engagement photos, wedding photos, maternity photos, boudoir photos, newborn photos, and family photos over many years. It’s incredibly meaningful to me to photograph families as they grow.
One thing I love about working with J is that she is always open to experimenting and pushing our session so that it isn’t typical. We make art together, and that is something special! She wanted a mix of some maternity boudoir photos in Asheville, as well as some taken in a gorgeous green dress. I took her out to a friend’s property in the country where I knew we would have privacy and some gorgeous evening light.
