I’m so grateful for the way that this job introduces me to some truly incredible people. Jen and Jeff are those kind of people. They are one of the most genuine, lighthearted couples that I’ve had the honor of photographing. We celebrated their union at Claxton Farm in Weaverville, NC, one of my favorites in the area. I also have to thank Sara for second shooting for me and to Flora Boutique for rocking their florals.
A few of my favorite moments:
// Jen’s bridesmaids circled up before she put on her dress to each share a letter with her. They each gave her a bead to string on her bouquet and reminisced about their friendship with her. This ceremony was filled with tears and laughter. They even had me tearing up behind my camera.
// Jen and Jeff asking me if they could climb in the river for a photo at Montreat. They didn’t have to ask twice! ;)
// Two friends read letters during their ceremony that Jen and Jeff exchanged while they were long distance while Jeff was hiking the Grand Canyon. They were hilarious and sweet.
// Hanging out with Chocolate Chip (the Llama). He’s my favorite guest whenever I visit Claxton.
